Deep End

bio
DEEP END formed in Alessandria, a small centre in the north-west of Italy. After one year of life the band had the chance to record several songs with some friends that were practicing as sound engineers. Most of this session was issued on " tsunami ", their first mcd available from Love Boat records. Their debut got really good reviews from alternative press, both in Italy and abroad. The band started as a power trio to become a four piece when Enrico from One By One We're All Becoming Shades joined the band on electronics, samples and keyboards. The band evolved its language progressing from a post-rock framework which is deeply influenced by U. S. indie-rock...if you're looking for a geographic location to get a picture of their sound...well, they could've been born somewhere between Chicago and Louisville.

Their present line-up is: Lolli Sacco, Andrea Ferraris, Enrico Brunoldi, Umberto Fabbri.
If you need names...they've been compared to the following bands: June of 44 , Karate , Blonde Redhead , Don Caballero , Ativin , Minor Forest , Fugazi ...
The bands favourite dimension is live. They played with: Giardini di Mirò , Orso , Thalia Zedek , Ultraviolet Makes Me Sick , Zu ...
